No cost to the employers

The apprenticeships that we offer are funded through the apprenticeship levy so employers incur no cost to upskill and train their staff.

A minimum 12-month commitment is required to the apprenticeships programme. Funding is granted in accordance with delivering the below Framework/Standard:

  • NVQ2 in Rail Maintenance/Construction/Plant/Highways 
  • Level 2 BTEC In Rail Maintenance/Construction/Plant/Highways
  • Level 1 or 2 Functional skills (English & Maths) one-day course

We will carry out on-site assessments on a monthly basis; Apprentices will also have additional learning to carry out off-site throughout the year, this will take place in a classroom environment. We will work with you on agreeing a schedule that is convenient to your schedules.
