What is meant by “Fit to Work”?
“Fit to Work” or “Fitness to Work” is a medical assessment performed to assess whether an employee can safely carry out a specific job or task. The medical assessment determines if an employee is medically fit to perform the job or task that they are employed to do.

If so, they could be putting themselves and you at risk? If an employee is not suitable for the work they do, then there is the risk of future ill health and absence. The assessment will include physical and mental capabilities, existing and past health conditions including medication and previous employment risks. Our Adviser will then provide the employer with a report. The report will typically report one of the three outcomes back to the employer:
