Scope

This course is intended to provide candidates with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to become a Level Crossing Attendant on Network Rail’s Infrastructure.

 

Purpose

At the end of this course the delegates will be able to: -

Demonstrate their understanding and ability to operate Level Crossing Barriers correctly, in line with the relevant Rule Book/Handbook Modules.

 

Course Duration

One Day, including the assessment process.

 

Pre-Requisites

Delegates MUST be in possession of: -

  • Valid P. T. S. certificate
  • Personal Track Safety Handbook

 

Personal Protective Equipment

This course is classroom based and therefore no P.P.E. is required.

 

Certification

The instruction will be followed by theory and practical assessments. Successful delegates will have a new card issued by NCCA endorsed with AOD (LXA).
